About This Event

The Capacity Building was developed in collaboration between Amal for Education and AIYD. The workshops were conducted in the Kilis Directorate of Youth and Sport premises while the second cycle was conducted in AIYD premises. Two series of workshops were conducted since the language barrier prevented us to use only Turkish and English during activities. So a first set of modules were givven to Turkish speakers and a second round to Arabic speakers. All materials were presented in the Turkish version and explained using either Turkish or Arabic. In presence cycles included 4 days of 8 hour activities (32 hours) for each group and a Practical Module that was conducted after the workshops and discussed collectively.  All modules were evaluated through a multiple choice test (the 4 tests and Practical modules in Annex) and a final feedback form.  Certificates were distributed to participants at the completion of the cycle of modules. A total of 27 people participated (far over the project baseline that was 15).
